After completing a successful search engine optimisation project for 4 star country house hotel Cringletie in the spring of 2008, the owners - Jacob and Johanna - asked me to organise a new look website for them.
I co-ordinated the team of designer John Hamlin and writer Sarah Burnett to develop the new look site over a period of 3 months. Featuring some new photography by John and Christmas photos by daughter Susannah the site went live on 8 December 2008.
In 2009 I worked on customising the Synxis booking engine to be more similar in look and feel to the new design.
May 2010 saw the launch of the new look site worked into the Drupal content management system with additional controls for the client in terms of multiple contributors for site content, as well as additional features like search, last updated, most popular and better search engine promotion.
