Ian Hamilton Finlay

I was appointed to develop a new website for fine art publisher Wild Hawthorn Press, focusing initially on Ian Hamilton Finlay's visionary garden at Little Sparta and his more recent work at Fleur de l'Air in Provence.

Recent additions include a vast amount of printed material available for purchase.

The site launched 16 December 2004, with e-commerce through the PayPal shopping cart added in August 2007 which increased sales of small printed works, particularly overseas, by over 1,000% in the first 6 months.

Wild Hawthorn Press found me originally by needing someone local to help fix a Mac PowerBook running OS9 - in German. I don't speak German, but I managed to remember how OS9 worked, and we fixed it eventually. (For those who don't know Macs, it's bit like having to troubleshoot Windows 95).
