Just had actress Gerda Stevenson here recording a song she composed for the centenary of the local school in West Linton, entitled Come Wander By The Winding Lyne.
We did it live straight into my Mac using GarageBand, and after she left I did some basic editing in Amadeus II to boost the levels and fade in, fade out properly; then the mp3 file was on the West Linton Primary School website within half an hour of being recorded.
