The Royal Philatelic Society London, the oldest philatelic society in the world, was established in 1869 as The Philatelic Society, London. I was appointed back in 1999 to develop a basic site outlining the aims of the Society, how to be become a member, and details about its' expert valuation service and forthcoming talks.
Over the years it has grown to a site with over 300 pages, archives of past meetings with notes, images, complete papers and now, increasingly, mp3 recordings of the talks and online versions of the related PowerPoint presentations, and the ability to buy publications online.
